The new structure will be larger than the existing one. We have taken <br />down some of the older parts of the structure. The cost of the project includes only the new <br />playstructure and installation by the manufacturer. <br /> <br />JUSTIFICATION <br /> <br />The park gets heavy use from neighborhood and T-Ball, Little League, and trail users. The City also <br />has a playground program at the park. This program adds additional use on the structure. <br /> <br />CURRENTSTATUS~ROJECTEDSCHEDULE <br /> <br />Structure was built in 1987, and will be 13 years old in the year 2000. <br /> <br />RELATIONSHIP TO EXISTING PLANS AND OTHER PROGRAMS <br /> <br />All structures are in need ofreplacement within 10-12 years. Most structures will be at least 14 years <br />old when they are currently scheduled. They should not be pushed back any further. This structure is <br />a higher priority than Ingerson because of the number of users. <br />
