<br />I <br />,> <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br />III"" .... <br /> <br />This Permanent Special Use Permit is issued not only <br />subject to Permittee's compliance with the general conditions <br />and documents mentioned hereinabove but also subject to all of <br />the applicable requirements of Ordinance No. 213, the City's <br />Zoning Ordinance, the requirements of the City's Building Code, <br />the issuance of appropriate building permits, and the following <br />special conditions: <br /> <br />} <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I.. Tbe use of the campus buildings and facilities <br />shall be limited to tbose uses and activities <br />normally associated with the curriculum and <br />operation of a small college. Extens~ve> use <br />o~ campus facilities by rental or lease .arrange- <br />ment specifically for the pUrpose> of ge~eratin9 <br />revenue for Bethel College shall be .prohibited. <br /> <br />. . 2. Commercial uses on campus shall be limited to <br />uses normally associated ,with small colleges, <br />such as food service operations and the.sal~ <br />of books and stationery supplies. These uses <br />shall be permitted only under the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />a. The use is provided primarily for the <br />convenience of the campus,population <br />(students, >faculty and staff). <br /> <br />b. The use is owned and operated. by Bethel <br />College or by a management company which <br />is contracted by Bethel College to operate <br />such use. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />.c. The use is not advertised by exterior signs <br />on the buildings or elsewhere on the campus <br />site which are visible from any public <br />street. <br /> <br />3. ReSearch facilities in which less than seventy- <br />five percent (75\) of the staff required for <br />its operation are students or faculty of Bethel <br />College shall be prohibited. <br /> <br />4. Rental of campus apartment and dormitory> units <br />shall be limited only to individuals who are <br />students, faculty members, or staff members of <br />Bethel College or who are attending a campus <br />sponsored function. <br /> <br />5. The resident population of the campus shall not <br />exceed the population anticipated for high <br />density (approximately 12 dwelling units per <br />acre) residential development of the site <br />(approximately 2300 persons). <br /> <br />6. Traffic generated by the normal college use <br />shall not exceed volumes anticipated for low <br />to medium density (approximately 3 to 4.5 <br />dwelling units per acre) residential development <br />of the site (approximately 3200 to 3300 trips <br />per day). > <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />- 2 - <br />
