<br />{ <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />DRAFT <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 14, 2000 <br />7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDERlROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the regular <br />CitY Council meeting at /33 p.m. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Dennis Probst, Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, David Grant, <br />Gregg Larson, and Lois Rem. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Also present were City Administrator, Joe Lynch; City Accountant, Terrance Post; Public <br />Works Director, Dwayne Stafford; Associate Ptanner, Nancy Randall; Parks and <br />Recreation Director, Thomas J. Moore; Recreation Program Supervisor, Michelle Otson; <br />City Attorney, John Miller; and City Engineer, Greg Brown, BRW; and Recording <br />Secretary, Lori Rolfson. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion <br />to aaopftlleagenaafor the February r4~2'OOO, regular City Council meeting. The <br />motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. January 31, 2000 Regular Council Meeting <br /> <br />Councitmember Grant requested the following changes: On page six, last paragraph, the last line <br />should read, "...comments had been made that there are!!Q drainage issues..." On page 10, first <br />paragraph, the second line of the first sentence should be changed to read, "...a softball field and <br />two soccer field~." The second sentence of this paragraph should be changed to read, "Because <br />one of the soccer fields overlap the softball field, it will not be possible..." <br /> <br />With regard to the last paragraph on page 1 0, Councilmember Grant believed that the walk over <br />bridge mentioned in the third sentence was referring to a small walk over bridge for the trail and <br />not a cross over bridge across the street. Councilmember Larson stated that the bridge being <br />discussed within this paragraph pertained to a small bridge that crossed the ditch on the west side <br />of Old Snelling Avenue. Mayor Probst concurred and suggested the third sentence of this <br />paragraph be amended to read, "...a walk over bridge that crossed the ditch that would tine up..." <br /> <br />e Councilmember Grant stated that on page 15, second paragraph, second sentence, the name Ms. <br />Kunkel should be changed to Mr. Kunkel. On page 18, third paragraph, last line, the property <br />should be changed to his property. <br />
