A time extension request form (copy attached), <br /> <br />c. A letter explaining how your request meets the requirements outlined in A, B, and <br />C listed above. <br /> <br />d. A specific plan of correction explaining what will be done to correct each <br />outstanding violation and including a fixed date by which the corrections will be <br />completed, <br /> <br />e. Upon receipt of the package, we will send you a written confinnation of receipt <br />and assign a time extension numher to your request. The assigned number should <br />be included on all future correspondence relating to the proposed time extension. <br /> <br />Once items 1, 2, and 3 have been completed, we will place your request on the Fire Marshal's <br />Code Advisory Panel agenda for their consideration. The Pane] may solicit comments and <br />information from the involved inspector, the party requesting the time extension and/or the local <br />Fire Chief After a thorough evaluation of the issue, a recommendation will be made to the State <br />Hre Marshal. <br /> <br />The State Fire Marshal will issue a decision approving, modifYing, or rejecting the time extension, <br />Approval of the time extension by the Fire Marshal means the extension is allowed and the <br />proposed correction timetable is acceptable, lfthe request is not granted, any person aggrieved <br />by a decision made by the Fire Marshal, may request a hearing befoTe the Fire Marshal in this <br />matter. <br /> <br />You will be notified in writing within ten (10) working days after the Fire Marshal has made <br />hislher decision. <br />
