He noted f11at a significaJ1t portion of these costs would be reimbursable by Ramsey .. <br />County, as the costs would have been incurred by them to complete the Highway 96 segment #1 <br />project. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE ACTIVITY REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated that the Parks aJ1d Recreation Committee met May 23 and <br />continued to review City parks and consider improvements for inclusion in upcoming budgets. <br /> <br />Councilmember GraJ1t stated that the Ingerson Task Force will meet June 6 at 5:30 p.m. and will <br />begin to focus on its final recommendations to the CounciL <br /> <br />Councilmember GraJ1t stated, as a reminder, that the Day in the Park would be held June 10. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson stated that the Water Quality Task Force met aJ1d reviewed Council <br />comments on their draft report. He added the task force is addressing the Council's concerns aJ1d <br />finalizing the document. He noted they would meet June 13. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski thanked the other Councilmembers for their support. She added she <br />is back to work. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski stated that the Events Committee would meet May 31. She added e <br />f11at f11e Newsletter Committee has not met recently. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated that the Web Site Task Force met twice recently to review aJ1d <br />prioritize tasks. She added f11at they would be ready for submittal to f11e Council by the end of <br />the monf11. She asked whether a Worksession or regular council meeting would be f11e <br />appropriate venue. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated that she attended the AMM meeting on May 18 with Mr, Post and <br />cast her ballot for Councilmember Aplikowski for the AMM board. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated that the Operations and Finance Committee is compiling a report on <br />garbage hauling and water rate issues, <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated she attended the Northwest Youth aJ1d Family Services board <br />meeting on May II. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated that the Web Site Task Force had discussed the possibility of a <br />written technology policy for City staff, as more technology becomes available. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem thanked all volunteers who participated in the flower garden planting on <br />~N e <br />
