<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RSOLUTION NO. 00-23 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT A SPEED STUDY ON OLD HIGHWAY <br />10/SNELLlNG A VENUE BETWEEN RAMSEY COUNTY HIGHWAY 96 AND <br />MINNESOTA STATE HIGHWAY 51 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, increasing traffic numbers and speed complaints have been realized on Old <br />Highway 10/Snelling A venue, between Ramsey County Highway 96 and Minnesota State <br />Highway 51; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, current speed limits on this roadway do change frequently; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Arden Hills seeks a consistent speed limit throughout this <br />roadway, which is deemed safe and proper by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, that the Minnesota Department of Transportation is hereby <br />requested to conduct a speed study on Old HighwaylO/Snelling Avenue between Ramsey <br />County Highway 96 and Minnesota State Highway 51 for the pmpose of finding and <br />recommending a uniform, safe, and proper speed limit for such roadway. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 26TH DAY JUNE, 2000. <br /> <br />DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />JOSEPH LYNCH, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
