<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNC1L - June 26,2000 <br /> <br />DRAFT <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />that they expected a report from the Ingerson group by the July 31 regular meeting for action at <br />the August 14 regular meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch stated the City Engineer's report will include a timetable, which could be requested <br />before the Ingerson group's next meeting. Councilmember Grant stated the group had <br />considered July 6 for its next meeting date. Mr. Lynch stated that Mr. Stafford believes that is <br />the next meeting date. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski stated the newsletter committee met on Wednesday June 21, and the <br />events committee met while she was out of town, adding she would provide an update at the <br />Council's next meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst stated that committee budgets should be taken into consideration when reviewing <br />the City's budget and levy. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem stated the Northwest Youth and Family Services' bike ride day was held <br />Sunday, June 25, and was a big fund-raiser for them. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst stated the 35W Corridor Coalition's 2nd workshop in the buildout study process <br />will be held Wednesday, June 28, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at the Roseville City Hall. He invited <br />interested councilmembers to attend. He added a lunch is scheduled that day for City Managers <br />and Mayors with Bill Hudnut of the Urban Land lnstitute. He noted he will be unable to attend. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst stated a meeting was held recently involving representatives of Ramsey County, <br />the Department of Transportation and Joseph Strauss on behalf of the 35W Corridor Coalition. <br />He added a proposal is being prepared to review all the interchanges in the area: I-35W/Hwy. 96, <br />Hwy 10/Hwy 96, I-35W/Hwy 10, I-694/Hwy 10, and Snelling Avenue/I-694. He stated they <br />wish to work with the Coalition on its buildout study. <br /> <br />Council member Larson stated he would wish to see traffic increase on the less used ramps at the <br />I-694/I-35W interchange. Mayor Probst stated the Department of Transportation is moving away <br />from major arterial roads toward boulevards which are more livable. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Aplikowski seconded a <br />motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:24 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (5- <br />0). <br /> <br />Dennis Probst <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Joe Lynch <br />City Administrator <br />
