Issued first quarter utility billings in mid-April. Billings for this service period <br />totaled $525,113 .22. <br /> <br />2. Supported installation of replacement meters and "read" heads. 224 installations <br />were accomplished during first quarter and, through May 6, 2000, an additional 232 <br />have been accomplished during second quarter. Support generally consists of "[mal <br />billing" the old meter/reader readings and adding them to the readings from the new <br />meter into overall consumption for the billing total. <br /> <br />3. Supported the external auditors in their examination of the financial statements for the <br />year ended December 31,1999. An adjunct report, "Minnesota City Financial <br />Reporting Form," will be completed, submitted to the Office of the State Auditor, and <br />published in the City's Official Newspaper by June 30, 2000. <br /> <br />4. Training during the period has included Senior Accounting Clerk Sandy Berres <br />attending a Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA), and myself attending <br />a Minnesota Government Finance Officer Association (MGFOA) "Investment and <br />Banking Relationships" seminar and attending a Ramsey County Local Government <br />conference primarily related to the installation of new property tax system software. <br /> <br />5. Supported the 2001 Budget process by assisting City Administrator Lynch in the <br />development of preliminary Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), staffing and salary <br />scenanos. <br /> <br />Third quarter 2000 primary goals include the following: <br /> <br />a. Issuing second quarter utility billings in mid-July. <br /> <br />b. Continuing supporting water meter replacement installations (note that entire <br />residential customer base is approximately 2,350) <br />
