The total awarded contract amount was <br />$794,725.05, which included Bid Alternative A (topsoil excavation), 3Jld Bid Alternative B <br />(landscaping): The Council approved Change Order #1 on April 12. 1999 and Change Order #2 <br />on August 9,1999 increasing the contract to $806,080.05. <br /> <br />Purpose of Chanl!e Order #3 <br />Change Order #2 includes additional work as described below: <br /> <br />1) Highway 96/West Round Lake Road Intersection Modifications: <br /> <br />Additional signage and striping were required to for signal modifications requested by <br />Ramsey County. The additional signage also induded blockades at the driveway entrance <br />that were not part of the original contract. The additional quantities for signage and striping <br />were paid for at contract unit prices. <br /> <br />2) Landscaping: <br /> <br />As part of negotiating construction easements from the Nott Co., 10 additional trees were <br />added to the project. In addition five trees were ;nslallcd around Gateway Court to mitigate <br />for tree losses resulting from the Construction of Gateway Court.
