<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />INGERSON PROJECT REVIEW GROUP RECOMMENDA TIONS <br /> <br />Survey questionnaires were given to 30 residents. The survey results are as follows: <br /> <br />20 Yes <br />1 No <br />2 Maybe* <br />.8. No response and/or residents not at home <br />31 Total <br /> <br />*2 residents were in favor ofrain gardens but did not want them installed in their yard because <br />they felt they could not maintain the rain gardens due to their age. One of these 2 also did not <br />want her existing hedges removed. <br /> <br />The survey results indicate that the majority of polled residents are in favor of the concept ofrain <br />gardens in lieu of a storm sewer system and would be agreeable to installation of rain gardens in <br />the City right-of-way on their property. <br /> <br />Financial Resonrces for Alternative Methods <br /> <br />A number of recognized local organizations believe that alternative methods such as rain gardens <br />are viable and should be incorporated into a city's PMP.
