<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY-OF-AROJ9l-IIlLLS, MINNESOT ,\ <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 14,2000 <br />7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />BR-AFT <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Acting Mayor Gregg Larson called to ordcr the <br />regular City Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Prescnt: <br /> <br />Councilmcmbers Bcverly Aplikowski, David Grant, Gregg Larson, and <br />Lois Rem. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Dcnnis Probst. <br /> <br />Also present wcre City Administrator, Joe Lynch; Public Works Director, Dwaync <br />Stafford; City Enginccr, Greg Brown, BRW; City Planner, Jennifer Chaput; and <br />Recording Secretary, Mary Mullen. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion <br />to adopt the agenda for the August 12,2000, regular City Council mccting, with <br />the following change: <br /> <br />Under Item 7, Unfinishcd and New Business, inseli Item 7B, 2000 Sealcoating <br />Project, before Item 7 A, Plarming Cases. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. July 31, 2000 Regular Council Meeting <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant requestcd thc following change: On page 4, 3rd paragraph, 3rd line, <br />replace "whenever they wish" with "on whatever day they prefer". <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem requested the following changes: On pagc 1, under Roll Call, note that City <br />Attorney Jerry Filla was present. On page 16, Under Item E, Wcbsite Development Task Force, <br />2nd paragraph, 2nd line, rcplacc "complete" with "available". On page 21, 6th paragraph, 2nd <br />and 3rd lines, replace "the Mayor, Mr. Kelliher. . ." with "Mr. Kellihcr, thc Mayor. . .". <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmcmber Aplikowski seconded a motion <br />to approvc thc meeting minutes of the July 31, 2000 Regular Council Meeting, as <br />amended. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br />
