e

To whom it may concern;

August 08, 2000

Hello, my name is Kathy Bruno I live at 4 Pine Tree Dr.#228
otherwise known as Hunters Park Apts.
I am writting this letter to you to let you know how much my life
would change and or be affected by having to leave Hunters Park
subsidized apartments. Right now I walk to work, so I save on gas,
this would change. I would also now have more ware and tear on
my car, also the insurance would change. Not to mention the gas
prices for traveling back and forth to work. Not that it matters but I
would also have the miles added to the odometer that I would get
for driving every day. And thats just from going to work. It may
mean I have to change jobs for the reasons stated above. I have
been at my job for 3 years now and have become the assistant
manager. These changes would be hard on anyone, but I have a
10 year old son and he would have to change schools, and his
friends he has aquired here at Hunters park. I would like to avoid
that as much as possible for now. If I were to have to leave ,it
probably would mean that I would have to leave the Arden Hills
area. Because there is no other affordable housing in this area. I
have looked into the housing link subsidized residence book and
they have phone waiting list for the waiting list, and you would
have to call every day on the off chance that you might get lucky
today and get on the list then the waiting starts, it could take up to
3-5 years on the list before there is an opening. So in conclusion I
would like to add that I think it would affect my life more than I
care to admidt . I just want to raise my son in the most comfortable
envoiment possible that I can and teach my son to the best of my
abilities. So please keep Hunters park housing afforadable.

.

~

.
