Also, the Council asked to be more informed regarding potential <br />:future proposals for code amendments by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />;oiscussion Items <br />L Proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments that failed at the 8/14 Council meeting <br />a) Seetion II (D), Definitions: Family; Dwelling Unit; Family; Household <br />b) Seetion VI (F), Construction Standards and Driveways <br /> <br />2. Proposed amendments to the antenna section of the Zoning Ordinance to address the <br />City's water towers. <br /> <br />3. Potential future amendments and work projects. <br /> <br />;rtem 1: Proposed Zonin!!: Amendments <br />A number of proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance were recommended by the <br />Planning Commission to the City Council in August. These included changes to <br />definitions, accessory structures, driveway regulations, fencing types, agricultural uses <br />and amortization. The portions of the proposed amendments that were passed by the City <br />Council have been drafted into a formal ordinance, as provided in Exhibit A. This <br />ordinance has not been aeted or adopted at this time. There were two areas of the <br />proposal that did not pass at the City Council level. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />,u) Section II (D), Definitions: Family; Dwelling Unit; Family; Household <br />The City continues to receive numerous complaints and concerns about single faJnily <br />homes that have been converted into homes for a number of College students. The <br /><current code does not have any language in it to deter this type of activity, essentially <br />
