While employed with the City, I <br />taught the City Clerk how to update the site with the minutes and agendas. She did <br />register for beginner classes in FrontPage and is now updating the site in my absence. For <br />the City of Long Lake, it was not difficult to know what was going on in all depal1ments <br />for updating the site since I tended to be involved in all aspects of the City. I do believe <br />that it is important that a minimum of two people know how to update the site at any <br />time. <br /> <br />Although I believe that the site has reduced phone calls and improved in communication <br />with local residents and businesses, there is not a way of truly evaluating my thoughts on <br />this. I do know that ease of access to information (such as agendas, minutes, and <br />ordinances) was appreciated by many residents and bnsinesses.
