This park and the related activities that occur there, winter and summer, was a major factor in our deciding to purchase our house (in Aug.'92) at 3966 Glenview Ave. We have used the rink every year that it was in operation and were disappointed when it wasn't open last year. I'm not really the speak up type, but since others are coming forward, I'm saying something now. There are about a 1/2 dozen families with kids on my block-three new ones since last year-all with kids younger than mine. There are at ieast two kids in each of those families! If you want to get a neighborhood pissed at you keep on the track you're on. If the rink is open we will use it. We used to have a family party there and would like to do it more. Arden Hills has many fine programs for kids and we use which ones we can, They are reasonably priced, not on too grand a scale-not overly competetive. One thing we love about Arden Hills is that it is not this huge bursting at the seams suburb. Our particular neighborhood is a great one because there is a lot of involvement in doing neighborhood activities and the park is a unifying factor. We have met many friends at the park. So, please consider all you have heard from all of us. We talk!
