<br />e <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 43 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO COMPLETE AND ADOPT A STORM WATER <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN CONSISTENT WITH THE RICE CREEK WATERSHED <br />DISTRICT SECOND GENERATION PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills' 1998 Comprehensive Plan update was submitted to the <br />Metropolitan Council for review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District updated their water management plan in 1997, <br />requiring all cities within the Watershed District to update their storm water management plans <br />by 1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has not adopted a storm water management plan to date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council requires that the City complete and adopt a storm water <br />management plan to complete the review of the Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City received requests for qualifications on November 17,2000 and will request <br />proposals from the most qualified firms; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will choose to enter into a contract with the chosen firm at their <br />regular meeting on January 8, 200 I; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will adopt a storm water management plan as a result of this <br />process by no later than December 31,200 I; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has asked that the City Council commit to a process and a <br />schedule for the completion of a water management plan so that the Comprehensive Plan review <br />may be completed, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota that the City Council commits to adopting a water management plan by no later than <br />December 31, 2001. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN IDLLS <br />TIDS 27'h DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2000. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />JOSEPH P.
