<br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 322 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 291, <br />THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS' ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />The Arden Hills City Council hereby ordains that the City of Arden Hills' Ordinance 291, <br />Zoning Ordinance, is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2 (0) Definitions <br />#43. DweJlinl!. A building or portion thereof, designed or used exclusively for residential <br />occupancy, including single-family, two-family and multiple family uses, but not including <br />hotels, motels, nursing homes, boarding or rooming houses, tents, seasonal cabins, or motor <br />homes or travel trailers. <br />#47. DweJlinl! unit. A residential building or portion thereof intended for occupancy by one (1) <br />family with facilities for living, sleeping, cooking and eating but not including hotels, motels, <br />nursing homes, tents, seasonal cabins, boarding or rooming houses, motor homes or travel <br />trailers. <br />#53. Familv. An individual or two (2) or more pcrsons, each related to the other by blood, <br />marriage, adoption or foster care, or a group of not more than four (4) persons, some or all of <br />whom are not related by blood, marriage or adoption, living together and maintaining a common <br />household. (These regulations shall not be applied so as to prevent the City from making <br />reasonable accommodation as required by the Federal Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988). <br />#66. Household. The person or persons occupying a single dwelling unit. <br /> <br />Section 6 (F) <br />#1, C. Construction Standards. These standards apply to all development. <br />(1) Surfacing. Off-street parking areas and driveways shall be improved with a paved <br />surface. Such areas shall be so graded and drained so as to dispose of all surface <br />water accumulations within the area as required by Rice Creek Watershed District. <br />(2) Curbs. A concrete curb and gutter shall be constructed for all developments <br />according to the requirements of the City except driveways for single and two-family <br />residences. <br />#3. Co Drivewavs. <br />(1) Driveway Widths. The permitted width of accesses to County or State streets or <br />roads are subject to County or State regulations. The following are the required <br />driveway widths for driveways accessing the following types of streets or roads, the <br />measurements being between the edges of the driveway at right angles thereto: <br /> <br />RESIDENTIAL <br />(in feet) <br /> <br />COMMERCIAL <br />(in feet) <br />
