<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (EDA) <br />DECEMBER 13, 1999 <br />7:00 P,M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, President Dennis Probst called to order the <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) meeting at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />President Dennis Probst, Commissioners Beverly Aplikowski and Lois <br />Rem. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Gregg Larson. <br /> <br />Also present were Executive Director, Joe Lynch; and Secretaryffreasurer, Terrance R. <br />Post; and Recording Secretary, Lori Rolfson. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Aplikowski moved and Commissioner Rem seconded a motion to <br />adopt the agenda for the December 13, 1999, meeting of the Economic <br />Development Authority. The motion carried unanimously (3-0). <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. November 29, 1999 Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Rem moved and Commissioner Aplikowski seconded a motion to <br />approve the minutes of the November 29,1999, Regular Meeting of the Economic <br />Development Authority, as submitted. The motion carried unanimously (3-0). <br /> <br />UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Resolution #EDA99-03. Avvroval 012000 EDA Budeet <br /> <br />The Secretary/Treasurer had prepared an annual budget for discussion and approval by the <br />Economic Development Authority Commissioners. <br /> <br />Mr. Post stated that noteworthy budget items included the following: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Tax increment excess revenue, recorded in EDA General Activities Fund No. I, are <br />planned to be utilized by funding allocated administrative expenditures and for loan <br />repayments to the PIR Fund. <br /> <br />2. Revolving Business Loan Fund No. 702, revenue transaction activity reflects the <br />installment loan payments from cpr on a $100,000 Minnesota Department of Trade and <br />Economic Development loan. <br />
