<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DR /4.Ff <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 18,2000 <br />4:4S P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the special <br />City Council meeting at 4:56 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Gregg Larson; Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, and <br />Lois Rem. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Dennis Probst and David Grant. <br /> <br />Also present were City Administrator, Joe Lynch; Public Works Director, Dwayne <br />Stafford; City Accountant, Terrance Post; Park and Recreation Director, Tom Moore; <br />and Recording Secretary, Heidi Guenther. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion <br />to adopt the agenda for the December 18, 2000, special City Council meeting, as <br />amended. The motion carried unanimously (3-0). <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. November 20,2000 Council Worksession <br />B. November 27,2000 Regular Council Meeting <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem asked ifthe legislators were contacted regarding the January 16,2001 <br />Council Worksession and ifthey were available. Mr. Lynch indicated they were contacted and <br />stated they would get back to the City the beginning of January. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem noted that on page 7, first line, the word "not "should be removed to read <br />"are class five". She asked that on page 17, second paragraph, that the second sentence begin a <br />new paragraph. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Larson noted several changes on November 27,2000 Regular Council Meeting <br />minutes on page 2, last paragraph to read "which may require them to make minutes or tapes <br />public after the litigation is over." He noted page 4, third paragraph, second to last sentence and <br />inquired whether Councilmember Aplikowski's statement was correct. Councilmember <br />ApIikowski asked that the sentence be struck from the minutes for clarification purposes. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Larson indicated on page 5, third paragraph from the bottom, second line from the <br />bottom, he noted the word "it" should be dropped. He added that the bottom paragraph, at the <br />end of the first sentence, needs a parenthesis. <br />
