<br />DRAFT <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION - DECEMBER 18, 2000 2 <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS <br /> <br />COUNCIL AND STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Post inquired about whether the City Council preferred to receive their <br />payroll checks on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. It was the consensus of <br />the City Council that they receive their checks on a quarterly basis. <br /> <br />Mr. Post went on to further discuss the Chesapeake proposal that would be <br />coming to the City Council shortly, and the information they would receive in <br />their next City Council packet. <br /> <br />Mr. Post also reported on the fundraising activities to-date for the Fiftieth <br />Anniversary celebration. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated that he is still uneasy about the fact that the City <br />does not have the QuitClaim Deed that clearly defines the property as the City's <br />for City Hall, and asked the question of what the City was going to do if they do <br />not receive the QuitClaim Deed in a timely fashion before expiration of the Right- <br />of-Early Entry. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski inquired about how to pay for purchases for the City <br />Events Task Force. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem reported on the Website Development Task Force <br />recommendations that would be coming forward to the City Council at their <br />January 8, 200 I meeting, and noted for the City Council that the TCAAP <br />information recently in the Council packets contained information about <br />particular dates, times, locations and meetings going forward.
