Definitions <br />I. Collector (32 foot minimum width) <br />Revised City Graphic identifies collectors as streets connecting two <br />county roads or highways with ADTs of at least 1000. <br />Generally this includes Commercial areas and redefines neighborhood <br />collector streets (ie Stowe, Ingerson etc) as local streets. <br />Total mileage identified throughout the City: 5.2 miles <br />Typical recommended curb designs:B618, B624. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />2. Local (28 foot minimum width) <br />Generally defined as through streets serving residential neighborhoods <br />with ADTs less than 1000. <br />Total mileage identified throughout the City: 20.6 miles. <br />Recommended Curb Designs: B618, B418, D418 Concrete Edge Strips <br />3. Special Cases (26 foot minimum width) <br />Generally defined as non through streets serving residential <br />neighborhoods. <br />Total mileage identified throughout the City: 2.4 miles. <br />Recommended Curb Designs: B618, D418, B612, B412, D412, Concrete <br />Edge Strip <br />4. Limited Access (12 foot minimum) <br />Generally occur in limited ROW situations where typical roadway widths <br />would cause significant disruption to private property. <br />Total mileage identified throughout the City: 0.2 miles <br />Recommended Curb Designs: B612, B412, D412, Concrete Edge Strip <br />Pavement Management Approach <br />1. Minimum Pavement Segment <br />Recommended minimum pavement segment for reconstruction projects of <br />'4 mile. This segment would typically cost between $240,000 and <br />$280,000 to reconstruct. <br />2. Number of segments to reconstruct on a per year basis <br />20 year cycle: 6 <br />30 year cycle: 4 <br />40 year cycle: 3 <br />Mileage of streets with PCI ratings below 60(1999 ratings): 4.8 miles (19 <br />segments) <br />3.
