<br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-22 <br /> <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br />OCTOBER 29, 2001 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Housing Componeut Goal <br />Affordable - Ownership 65% <br />Affordability - Rental 35% <br />Life-cycle - Type (non-single family detached) 27 - 36% <br />Life-cycle - Owner/Renter Mix 75 - 83/17% to 25% <br />Density - Single-family detached 1.8 to 2.3 units/acre <br />Density - Multi-family 9 - 12 units/acre <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for calendar year 2002, a metropolitan area municipality that participated in <br />the Local Incentive Account Program during the calendar year 2001 can continue to <br />participate under Minnesota Statutes 473.254 if: <br /> <br />a) the municipality elects to participate in the Local Housing Incentives <br />Account Program by November 15, 200 I; and <br />b) the Metropolitan Council and the municipality have successfully <br />negotiated affordable and life cycle housing goals for the municipality. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BT IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden <br />Hills, Minnesota that the City elects to continue participation in the Local Housing <br />Incentives Program under the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act during the calendar <br />year 2002. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN <br />HILLS THIS 29'h DAY OF OCTOBER, 2001. <br /> <br />DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />JOSEPH P.
