<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2001 <br />7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Chair Sand called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present were Commissioners Stephen Erickson, Therese Galatowitsch, Dave Sand, <br />Warren Pakulski, and Clayton Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Absent: Chair Steve Baker, Commissioner Terri Duchenes. <br /> <br />Also present were Councilmember Beverly Aplikowski, Councilmember Lois Rem, City <br />Planner Aaron Parrish, and Recording Secretary Kathleen Altman. <br /> <br />Acting Chair Sand indicated Chair Baker had resigned his position. Acting Chair Sand <br />would be Acting Chair for November and December. He nominated Commissioner <br />Galatowitsch as Acting Vice Chair for November and December. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON <br />OCTOBER 3, 2001 <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman requested tile following changes/revisions: Page 2, 6th <br />paragraph, 4th sentence, to read, "He stated his initial tenant is Bethel College...". Page <br />2, 6th paragraph, 6th Sentence, to read, "He asked the Commission to take action on this <br />tonight...". Page 4, 5th paragraph, first sentence, to read, "...but he believed this type of <br />a development would have less traffic than...". Page 6, under condition number 1 0, to <br />read, "The City Engineer review)> and approve!i the County design and access to <br />Cleveland Avenue". Page 7, the motion for continuing the meeting past ten o'clock was <br />a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Galatowitsch, to approve <br />the October 3, 2001 minutes as amended. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />CASE #01-27 - TOM AND KATHY GOSERUD; ROGER AIKEN, 4350 and 4360 <br />HAMLINE AVENUE, PRELIMINARY PLAT - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Acting Chair Sand opened the puhlic hearing at 7:34 p.m. <br /> <br />Staff reviewed their report dated November I, 200 I and presented letters from several of <br />the residents as well as a petition asking for denial of this preliminary plat.
