<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />section. <br /> <br />The management and ownership of any business establislm1ent proposing to install signage must <br />he separate and distinct from the management and ownership of any other establishment in the <br />same building or on the same building lot. Each estahlislm1ent must be separated from all other <br />establislm1ents by party walls having no openings or passages. <br /> <br />Signage for establislm1ents occupying a multi tenant building or site, but not located on the street <br />or primary level of the building must be provided from the allocation of sign area and type to the <br />occupants of the street or primary level of the building. <br /> <br />Only one freestanding sign is permitted for each development or parcel whether occupied by a <br />single or by multiple tenants. In the case of multiple tenant sites, the permitted freestanding sign <br />area in Section VI. "Table One Standards by Sign District" for the single permitted freestanding <br />sign must be allocated by the owner of the site among its tenants. <br /> <br />SECTION IX, TEMPORARY SIGNS <br /> <br />Temporarv Signs. Temporary signs, including streamers and pennants, are permitted for a total <br />of 30 days per calendar year. Freestanding Temporary Signs are permitted only in districts (on <br />the matrix) where freestanding signs are permitted and freestanding temporary signs are not <br />permitted when a permanent freestanding sign is located on the same lot. The area of any <br />temporary sign shall be one half that allowed in Section for a permanent sign of that type in that <br />district. <br /> <br />SECTION X, SIGN STANDARD ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />Sign Standard Adiustments. Adjustments to the requirements and standards for the height, <br />number, type, lighting, area or location of a sign or signs established by this ordinance may be <br />approved through the Site Plan Review process if the following qualifying criteria of A or B, and <br />the necessary criteria of C, are met: <br /> <br />A. There are site conditions which require a sign adjustment to allow the sign to be <br />reasonably visible from a street immediately adjacent to the site; Or, <br />B. The sign adjustment will allow a sign of exceptional design or a style that will <br />enhance the area or that is more consistent with the architecture and design of the site; <br />And, after finding positively on condition A or B above, <br />C. The sign adjustment will not result in a sign that is inconsistent with the purpose of <br />the zoning district in which the property is located. <br /> <br />5 <br />
