<br />supportive of trails and tunnels,

<br />Councilmember Larson asked if the County would be financially supportive of a trail and tunnel
<br />crossing, Mr. Tolaas replied the County had, in the past, contributed small amounts to trails and
<br />tunnels and this could be looked at.
<br />
<br />Mr. Lynch asked if the County has in the past given credit against improvements to the City as
<br />opposed to a cash disbursement. Mr. Tolaas replied that had been done with Cities in the past
<br />and could be something that could be looked into,
<br />
<br />Mr. Tolaas stated County Road I and the Shutta intersection current volumes did not warrant a
<br />signal at this time. He indicated with a realignment of County Road I, they expected traffic
<br />volumes might increase somewhat. He indicated they would be releasing their Project
<br />Development Report in the near future,
<br />
<br />Mr. Lynch inquired about acquisition costs to the City for the properties for the County Road I
<br />project. Mr. Tolaas replied he assumed there would be acquisition costs, except in the instance
<br />of a realignment issue. However, for widening issues, the City would bear the cost.
