The motion carried (5-1). <br /> <br />This Planning Case will be reviewed at the Monday, February 26,2001, City Council meeting, <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Council Liaison <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski reviewed the Metro Community sign item and noted it passed at the <br />Council level, along with the other two items passed on at the January meeting, She indicated a <br />sound wall would be worked on with MnDOT on 35W near the mobile home park. <br /> <br />. Councilmember Aplikowski noted the web site is up and running and encouraged the <br />Commissioners to view the site, She stated Ramsey County and the City are working towards a <br />public works site at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski indicated the task force working on the gateway areas has <br />designated $30,000 for the signs, which has not been approved by the Council. <br /> <br />Commissioner Galatowitsch asked if the task force would alter their recommendation of the <br />font/style of the City logo to the new logo, Councilmember Aplikowski noted she was uncertain <br />of this, but stated this would be up for discussion. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski noted the construction of the City Hall was on schedule and should <br />be open sometime in July of this year. <br /> <br />B. Planning Commissioners <br /> <br />There was nothing new at this time. <br /> <br />C. Staff <br /> <br />I.) Worksession <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Ms. Chaput asked ifthe Commissioners would like to hold a worksession meeting to <br />review ordinance amendments, etc. She noted the past meeting agendas have been larger <br />limiting the number of discussion items. <br />
