<br />e <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: March 12, 2001 <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Jennifer Chaput, City PlannerCfY <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Case #01-06, Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />City of Arden Hills <br /> <br />Request <br />The City of Arden Hills requests amendment of Figure 7,1, Road Classifications, of the <br />1998 Comprehensive Plan to correct the locations of the identified "Community <br />Gateways", reflecting the findings ofthe 1985 Parkway System Feasibility Study, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Back2round <br />In November 1998, the City's Comprehensive Plan was updated and adopted by the City <br />Council. The 1998 Comprehensive Plan update identified "Community Gateway" <br />locations in Figure 7,1, Road Classifications, This map was generated from the 1985 <br />Parkways System Feasibility Study, as identified by the Parkway Task Force and <br />Wehrman Consultants at that time, The Comprehensive Plan map does not identifY the <br />comer of Lexington Avenue and County Road E or the corner of County Road E2 and <br />Cleveland Avenue as a "Community Gateways", Therefore, Figure 7,1 of the <br />Comprehensive Plan does not match the Parkway System Feasibility Study map due to <br />these errors, Figure 7.1 has been amended to identifY all of the locations shown in the <br />Parkway System Feasibility Study. The amended map and information relating to this <br />case was provided to the City Council with the Planning Commission packet for the <br />March 7, 2001 meeting. <br /> <br />Options <br />I.
