<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />July 5,2001 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Joe Lynch, City Administrator /7~ <br />Terrance Post, City Accountant~ <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />City Hall Rochon Corporation Contract - Proposed Change Order No.4 <br /> <br />Backl!round <br /> <br />At the June 25, 2001, regular meeting, the Arden Hills City Council approved change Order No. <br />3, in the amount of $38,593.93, bringing the total contract price with Rochon Corporation for the <br />new city hall construction to $3,056,085.93; although $6,340.00 of this total (cost of two <br />additional roof drains) remains a disputed contract item. <br /> <br />Pro Dosed Chanl!e Order No.4 <br /> <br />Architectural Alliance has submitted Change Order No.4 dated June 26, 2001, totaling <br />$3,985.00, and consisting of five (5) items. The items include the following: <br /> <br />1. Relocate hollow metal door B03b and add $1,010.00 <br /> hollow metal door B03c <br />2. Additional blocking for furniture (ASI #13) 1,066.00 <br />3. Additional electrical system costs related to 975.00 <br /> PR#18 (ASI#13) <br />4. Add %" treated nailer to roof2x6's (MC#6) 626.00 <br />5. Add elevator eauioment room bassmouth fitting 308.00 <br /> TOTAL Chanl!e Order No.4 $3,985.00 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff has reviewed, participated in discussions with the architect and contractor, and found the <br />content of Change Order No.4 items to be reasonable. Staff would, therefore, recommend that <br />the Arden Hills City Council approve Change Order No.4 with Rochon Corporation in the <br />amount of$3,985.00. The approval of Change Order No.4 would increase the total contract cost <br />to $3,060,070.93. <br /> <br />Enclosure <br />
