A new network utilizing the Windows 2000 Operating System <br />. Network jacks, cabling, and router making network, e-mail, and internet resources available <br />throughout most of the building <br />. 10 new computer workstations and monitors <br />. Internet, e-mail, and calander scheduling made available to all employees, Employees can also <br />access their calander and work e-mail via 'Webmail." <br />. Fax from desk capability <br />. A digital scanner for electronic document imaging <br />. Upgrade to Microsoft Office XP Software (Office, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) for most computers <br /> <br />In the past, the City has had a loosely constructed agreement with the City of Roseville for computer and <br />network support services (for three computers that were connected to the internet), However, the City's <br />primary network and related technological resources were not covered under the agreement or <br />sufficiently maintained. In order to maximize productivity and the City's investment in technology, staff <br />has been evaluating options to formalize our relationship with the City of Roseville based on existing <br />needs, As such, enclosed is a draft JPA for your review and comment. <br /> <br />Based on our discussions with the City of Roseville and an internal evaluation of needs, the proposed <br />JPA contemplates the services highlighted below for an annual fee of $20,000. <br /> <br />. Ongoing network support, maintenance, security, and upgrade <br />. Systems integration/installation of new software (new financial software etc. , ,) <br />. Hardware maintenance and configuration <br />. Ongoing software updates (antivirus etc , . ,) <br />. Desktop and workstation technical support for issues not resolvable in-house <br />. Continued hosting and maintenance of city e-mail and web server <br />. Monitoring and evaluation of communications infrastructure <br />. Hardware and software purchasing evaluation <br />. Software and hardware training <br />
