<br />~ <br /> <br />About a year and a half ago Mr. Nelson was in the process of purchasing and developing this <br />~operty. My wife and I had went to the city council meeting and expressed our many concerns. <br />_ter this meeting the project was delayed for six months. We haven't heard a word since than, and <br />now 1 1!2 years later we have had people taking pictures in our front yard and of our home. We've <br />also had people in the woods next door cutting and measuring. I understand this neighboring lot is <br />not our property, but as a home-owner in Arden Hills, I feel it is somewhat our responsibility to keep <br />a watch for the city, and fellow neighbors for crime and trespassers. So I get nervous when I hear or <br />see people in the woods <br /> <br />Why were we not informed that this project was back in effect? It was nothing for a year and a half <br />than- BANG, we have 100 hundred new neighborhoods, a no sun backyard, and a brick wall to <br />learn to appreciate. <br /> <br />I apologize if I sound upset, but I kind of am. I received a phone call about 3-4 days ago from Mr. <br />Nelson. He stated that a final City Council! City Planning Development was going to take place on <br />1215101 at 7:30pm. Unfortunately with this short notice I was unable to schedule another instructor to <br />pick up my class. Especially now that it's 2 weeks before finals. I was unable to attend this meeting. <br /> <br />Where do we stand? Do we have anything to say? Does our opinion count? There are several <br />businesses across the street. Why do we need another one? <br /> <br />I am not a bitter man. As a matter in fact, most people say I am a pretty nice guy. I would just like to <br />voice an opinion, have our suggestions & concerns considered, and be informed on specific <br />.tuations especially business developments that will be kissing my property. <br /> <br />Thank you for your time and I look forward to your understanding and response.
