Livable Communities Award - Roger Williams <br /> <br />Mr. Williams presented a Livable Communities Award to the City of Arden Hills <br />in the amount of$75,000 for TCAAP planning. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />6. FINANCE <br /> <br />Moved permanently to Community Services <br /> <br />7. COMMUNITY SERVICE <br /> <br />A. DSU Scope of Services <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish stated the Council had previously directed staff to issue a Request for <br />Qualifications (RFQ) to various planning firms to provide land use and <br />infrastructure planning services for TCAAP. Based on that direction, an RFQ was <br />issued and three finalists were interviewed by a selection committee. The selection <br />committee chose a team lead by Dahlgren, Shardlow, and Uban (DSU). Mr. <br />Parrish reviewed the Scope of Services Agreement and recommended Council <br />direct staff to execute the Agreement and recommend an advisory panel be <br />established. <br /> <br />John Shardlow of Dahlgren, Shardlow, and Uban summarized the key <br />characteristics and various phases of the process. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst requested one or both representatives from the colleges [Bethel & <br />Northwestern], representatives of the business community, citizens, and a <br />representative from Representative McCollum's office be invited to serve on the <br />committee. <br /> <br />e <br />
