<br />, <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2001, 6:30 P,M. <br />CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br /> <br />RECONVENE/CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the regular <br />City Council meeting at 7:30p,m, <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Dennis Probst, Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, David Grant, <br />Gregg Larson, and Lois Rem. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None, <br /> <br />tit <br /> <br />Also present were City Administrator, Joe Lynch; City Accountant, Terrance Post; City <br />Planner, Aaron Parrish; Interim Public Works Director and Parks & Recreation Director, <br />Thomas Moore; and Recording Secretary, Nancy Czajkowski, <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Probst noted the Truth-In- Taxation Hearing was held earlier this evening, <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion to <br />adopt the agenda for the December 10, 200 I, regular City Council meeting, The <br />motion carried unanimously (5-0), <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Probst opened the public Hearing at 7 :40 p,m, <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch explained the Sheila Stolz Memorandum regarding the re-codification ofthe City <br />Code. He stated staff recommends that the city adopt the City Code as written and then make <br />corrections recommended by Councilmember Rem and Mr, Filla, He distributed a simplified <br />surrunary ordinance and ordinance adoption format prepared by the City Attorney, He stated the <br />Fee Resolution refers to specific code violations in the new City Code, He noted the Fee <br />Schedule has the costs for copies, applications fees, etc, <br /> <br />e Councilmember Rem questioned the timing of the publication of the notice for the public <br />hearing, Mr. Lynch responded he thought it was published once in November. <br />
