<br />" <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />Use of the municipal water in violation of the watering restriction will be the responsibility of the <br />property owner living at the prope11y, or if no owners of the premises reside therein, then by the <br />adult person or persons in control of such property as tenants or managers for the owners. <br /> <br />For each day a property is in violation of the watering restriction, a $25 a day fine will be <br />assessed to residential properties and a $100 a day fine will be assessed for all commercial <br />properties. The total of all fines will be added to the quarterly water bill for that property. <br />Continued violation of the water restriction and/or non-payment of the fines imposed for <br />violating the water restriction may be cause for discontinuance of water service. <br /> <br />Residents and/or City staff may report violations to the Director of Operations and Maintenance. <br />The Director of Operations and Maintenance will visit the property, or direct other staff to visit <br />the property, to confirm the violation is occurring. Upon confirmation of the violation, the <br />visiting City staff person will leave a notice at the door indicating charges will begin the date of <br />the visit and will cease only when the property owner telephones City Hall to confirm their <br />compliance; or when the water restricting band has ended. <br /> <br />Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective the day following its publication. <br /> <br />Adoption Date: Passed by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills <br />the day of 2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> <br />JOSEPH P.
