The <br />area contemplated for redevelopment consists of approximately 60 acres currently improved with abandoned <br />railroad right of way, an older industrial building, and other underutilized property. Depending on market <br />demand, the project will feature two eight story office buildings along with accessory development to <br />accommodate the use. Final <br />Planned Unit Develo ment re uired. <br />Comments are currently being received from external <br />agencies. A determination regarding the adequacy of the <br />EA W will be made in Februa 2002. <br />The developer has recently acquired the primary parcel of <br />property. The ATS Steel and railroad property remain to <br />be ac uired. <br />The City of Arden Hills and City of New Brighton are <br />currently working to acquire the railroad bridge for <br />edestrian ur oscs. <br />Improvements to W. Round Lake Road and Gateway Blvd. <br />are necessar to facilitate redevelo ment. <br />Identifying funding sources for necessary capital <br />improvements, site acquisition, and enviroumental <br />remediation. <br /> <br />SHORT TERM ACTIONS NEEDED: <br />.
