The operation of the <br />facility would be to accommodate the following uses. <br /> <br />I. Daytime recreational activities: Groups of 5 to 40 elderly would be invited for <br />picnics, gardening, or playing cards. Day use would average three days per week from <br />May through September and perhaps one day per week during the other months. <br /> <br />2. Vacation sessions: Groups of3 to 10 elderly would be invited to the facility for <br />fishing, cooking, playing cards, sitting outside, eating, etc. Vacation sessions would be <br />for periods of two days to two weeks from May through September. Average use would <br />be 15 to 20 days per month. <br /> <br />3. Staff and volunteer retreats and meetings: Use would be about once per month, with <br />5 to 30 attending. <br /> <br />Considerations: <br />1. The Bradford will, which left the property to Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly, <br />specified that the property should be maintained "as a vacation home for the full use and <br />benefit of under-privileged and elderly persons living in the central areas of the Twin <br />Cities to enjoy the out-of-doors in a natural setting." <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2. A resident caretaker shall see that the buildings and grounds are maintained in a <br />manner compatible with the neighborhood. <br />
