As stated in the attached March 30, 2001 letter (MnJDOT Review POI-031), the 1-35W /1-694
interchange is scheduled to be reconstructed, along with the 1-694 expansion project, in December,
2007. This project is considering the removal of the loop in the northeast quadrant and replacing it
with fly overs, Although it is our intention to remain within MnJDOT right of way, there are no
defmitive limits of reconstruction for the interchange at this time. If you have any questions
regarding this information, please contact Nancy Daubenberger (651-582-1379) in Mn/DOT's Design
section.

. The Appendices listed in the EA W were not attached to the submitted document for review, For
verification of traffic operations as a result of the proposed development, please submit the
Sim5/Synchro Software results to Kevin Schwartz (651-582-1278) in MnJDOT's System Operations
section,

. The drainage issues affecting MnJDOT's right of way are unclear by the information provided in the
EA W, It appears that the ponds in the proposed project are outletting into MnlDOT's right of way, A
MnJDOT drainage permit will be required, The City or project developer will need to submit
before/after hydraulic computations for both 10 and 100 year rainfall events verifying that all existing
drainage patterns and systems affecting Mn/DOT right of way will be perpetuated, One foot of
freeboard is needed over the highwater elevation, Please direct questions concerning these issues to
Eric Kasa (651-634-2076) ofMnJDOT's Water Resources section, Questions regarding permit
applications should be directed to Keith VanWagner (651-582-1443) ofMnlDOT's Permits section,

e

Please address all future correspondence for development activity such as plats, site plans, environmental
reviews, and comprehensive plan amendments to:

An equal opportunity employer
