The deficit of <br />$ 473.84 will be made up through savings realized in the replacement of the Parks vehicle <br />#2, a Ford 250 pick up, serial # 2FTHF26H6-TCA55866 of the 2002 Parks Maintenance <br />Capital Improvement Plan Budget. <br /> <br />The budget for the replacement of Parks vehicle #2 is $42,000.00. The replacement cost <br />of Parks vehicle #2 is $29,127.89. This price was confirmed with the vendors, Superior <br />Ford and J-Craft, in their February 7,2002 Contract Number; 0877CI. This will produce <br />savings of$12,872.11. <br /> <br />Trade In Value <br />The trade in value on the 1995 Taro 325 D4 rotary mower with deck, cab, and snow <br />blower is $5,600.00. This money is considered revenue and is directed to the General <br />Fund, and can not be used to defer the cost of the new Taro Groundmaster 325 D. <br /> <br />Recommendatiou <br />Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the purchase of a new 2002 Taro <br />Groundmaster 328 D, at a cost not to exceed $28,473.84. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br />
