Included in the support functions are: <br />Dining facilities for trainees, break areas, material preparation space, central mechanical <br />and electrical spaces, storage and a shared receiving area with Building F. The facility <br />will provide a range of curriculums, developed by Guidant staff and consultants, intended <br />to enrich the myriad of Guidant CRM employees and customers. <br /> <br />The Guidant CRM Training Facility is being designed as a 3 level structure of <br />approximately 36,300 gross square feet per level, totaling approximately 110,960 gross <br />square feet It will connect to the southwest corner of Building F. The project includes a <br />major campus connection via a skyway link across Fernwood avenue to Building E. The <br />entrance lobby will face south and address an entry plaza that will eventually become <br />the "new front door" for the CRM campus. Also planned, as part of the project is a new <br />landscaped courtyard to the north of the facility. The facility and its outdoor amenities <br />will be designed as fully accessible spaces. <br /> <br />Initially, the program, as defined by Guidant Corp., will occupy 68,740 square feet of the <br />total 110,9600 square feet, occupying nearly two levels of the building. The third level <br />will be finished as "shell-space" and be reserved for future training curriculum expansion <br />and also provide interim swing space for ongoing departmental reorganizations. <br /> <br />Guidant Corporation <br /> <br />Training Facility <br />
