<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Friday, April 19, 2002 <br /> <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br /> <br />The decision on to close the Daycare at Shoreview Alliance Church was based a <br />revisioning process that was done by the church in 2001. It showed a lower interest on <br />behalf of the congregation with regard to this ministry, also the church wanted to focus <br />more of its resources on other ministries. Moreover, we are looking to largely rebuild our <br />facilities within the next year; therefore we needed to decide between room for the <br />daycare or for a new sanctuary/gymnasium. It is our belief that the sanctuary/ <br />gymnasium offered us facilities that better matched our vision. In other words the <br />closure is by no means a negative reflection on the daycare, it was a strategic decision. <br />Julie Carlson, has worked very hard to continue a positive program during her time as <br />our director and we greatly appreciate her efforts. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />David Young, Sf.
