<br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~ILLS <br /> <br />DRAFT <br /> <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION <br />MONDAY, April 15, 2002,4:45 P.M. <br />CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br /> <br />Mayor Probst called the Work Session to order at 5:00 p,m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, <br />1245 W. Highway 96, Arden Hills, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Dennis Probst, Council Members Beverly Aplikowski, David Grant, Gregg Larson, <br />and Lois Rem. Staff present: Administrator Joe Lynch, Terry Post, Tom Moore, Aaron Parrish, <br />Michelle Olson, Greg Brown and Cynthia Young. <br /> <br />1. Quarterly Reports <br /> <br />Mayor Probst suggested the Council Members contact staff outside the work session should they <br />have any questions or concerns regarding the Department Quarterly Reports. <br /> <br />2. Staff Discussion Items <br /> <br />a.l Community Development - TCAAP Developer Discussion <br /> <br />Mayor Probst acknowledged the attendance of prospective TCAAP Developers, and said the City <br />Council was ready to identify a partner. <br /> <br />Council Member Larson stated he felt the nature of the process is that we are looking at things <br />superficially, He said others are basically presenting their qualifications. He is ready to indicate who <br />he thinks the City should go with, and it is wise for the City to identify a second consortium. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski stated it was not difficult to narrow the scope. She wants to know what <br />the "vision" is, e,g. more commercial or different types of housing. She has a first and second choice <br />in mind. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant said each developer presented well, but each Council member also has <br />different objectives, therefore, the decision concerning the criteria is the most important. <br /> <br />Council Member Rem stated she was ready to make a decision, as well. <br />
