<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-19 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MEMORIALIZING CHARLES PECK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Charles "Charlie" Peck died on March 27, 2002; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Charlie Peck was a loyal employee of the United States Postal Service for over 38 years; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for the last 30 of those years, Charlie Peck regularly delivered mail to the residents of <br />Arden Hills in the true spirit of the Postal Service's commitment that, "...neither snow nor rain nor heat nor <br />gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds;" and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Charlie Peck was a long-time, respected and trusted friend of the many Arden Hills <br />residents that he served. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council and residents of the City of Arden Hills <br />express their appreciation for the many years of dedicated, reliable service that Charlie provided; <br /> <br />RESOLVED, that the City Council and residents of the City of Arden Hills express their heartfelt <br />sympathy to Charlie's family, friends, and co-workers at the New Brighton Station; and <br /> <br />RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be provided to Charlie Peck's family and to the Station <br />Manager at the New Brighton Station. <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of April, 2002. <br /> <br />Mayor Dennis Probst <br /> <br />Council member David Grant <br /> <br />Councilmember Beverly Aplikowski <br /> <br />Councilmember Lois Rem <br /> <br />Councilmember Gregg Larson <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator Joe Lynch <br />
