The report also consisted of independent stndies by . IlKS Associates and STS Consnltants, Part of Ihe investigation completed by HKS Associates involved excavating down to all of the anchor points which are bnried np to 11 feel below the snrface. This verification by IlKS Associates conclnded that the anchor points were in excellent condition. The analysis of the soils by STS Consnltants detennined that the soils exceeded all requirements of the established engineering standards. All of the studies condncted by these different experts in their respective fields were independent and, as mentioned, were incorporated into the final report issued by Ehrcsm;nm Engineering. We nndertook and completed the consnl1.1tion of independent exper1s that was reqnested by the City. The three different engineering firms were retained for their expertise to provide objective findings to tile City of Arden Hills. Anything less would not be accepted or tolerated by Arden Towers, Inc. e Yon indicated that tbe city was planning to engage American Towers to do another study, It should be noted that American Towers is a competitor of Arden Towers, tnc, In our convers>,tion, 1 agreed to pay for np to $1,000.00 to engage a consntlant to assist in any interpretation of the report and give yon the assurance that it was perfonned in accordance with applicable engineering standards.
