Both streets are cui de sacs and include a
number on non, rectangular lots. We have utilized the Assessment policy guidelines to dctermine
the front footage basis for each lot however a couple lots do not fit perfectly into the examples_
The proposed assessment rate is $5 LOO/FF which is $1.90 higher than the rate included in the
Feasibility Report howcver the amounts due by individual residents are very close to those
included in the Feasibility Report since the total assessable project cost has remained steady
while the assessable front footage calculation has decrcased by about 75 feet. The assessable
front footagc amounts were adjustco:! based upon the incorporation of actual plat dimensions and
more precise calculation of lot areas (by computer) for odd shaped lot formulas in several cases.
We have assumed that the project costs associated with storm water drainage will be funded by
the Storm Water Utility and are therefor not included in the assessment calculation.

.

I have attached a copy of the proposed assessment role and a property map for your information.
If the Council finds the proposed assessment rate and individual parcel assessments to be
acceptable, this information will be forwarded to each affected resident as part of their
notification for the Assessment Hearing.

.

\\S07 I NTOl \PROJECTS\37951 020\D0CUMENT$\WORD\2002PMP AssessmentRolememo_doc
