The term "Subdivision" inclndes resnbdivision and, when appropriate to <br /> <br />the context, shall apply to the process of subdividing or to the land subdivided. The <br /> <br />acquisition of land by any means for pnrposes of erecting or installing utility lines, <br /> <br />including underground gas lines, overhead power lines, transmitting towers, or similar <br /> <br />utility sites, or easements shall be considered a snbdivision when such utilities are <br /> <br />designed to serve more than one lot. <br /> <br />1100.05 Zoning. The separate document known as the City of Arden Hills Zoning Ordinance, <br /> <br />as adopted and from time to time amended by the City Council, as incorporated as Appendix <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />1100.06 Copies of Plats. Copies of all of such plats of subdivisions, after the same have been <br /> <br />submitted and approved as provided in this chapter, shall be filed and kept by the city <br /> <br />administrator among the records of the City. <br /> <br />Section 1110 - Preliminary Plat <br /> <br />1110.01 Filings. Before platting or dividing a tract ofland into two (2) or more lots or parcels, <br /> <br />an owner or subdivider shall, unless a variance is authorized, file with the city administrator: <br /> <br />Snbd. 1.
