<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4,2002 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chair Sand called the meeting to order at 7:02 p,m. <br /> <br />ROLLCALL <br /> <br />Present were Commissioners Ken Bezdicek, Brad Lemberg, Megan Ricke, Cathy <br />Smithknecht, Clayton Zimmerman, and Chair David Sand. <br /> <br />Absent: Commissioner Terri Duchenes. <br /> <br />Also present were Council Member Beverly Aplikowski, Council Member Lois Rem, <br />Director of Community Services Aaron Parrish, City Planner Peter Hellegers, and <br />Recording Secretary Kathleen Altman. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Bezdicek to approve the <br />agenda for the September 4, 2002 Planning Commission. The motion carried <br />unanimously (6-0). <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON <br />AUGUST 7. 2002. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Lemberg to approve the <br />August 7, 2002 minutes as amended. The motion carried unanimously (6-0), <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - PLANNING CASE #02-24 - TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH. <br />1700 HIGHWAY 96, ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish introduced the new City Planner Peter Hellegers and welcomed him to the <br />City. <br /> <br />Chair Sand opened the public hearing at 7:03 p,m. <br /> <br />Staff reviewed their report dated August 26, 2002. Staff recommended approval of the <br />Zoning Ordinance Amendment. <br /> <br />There was no one present for or against the Zoning Ordinance amendment. <br /> <br />Chair Sand closed the public hearing at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman asked if there would be a charge for the lessons, or would it <br />be strictly to enhance the abilities of the people in the choir, <br />
