Technology Master Plan Draft #3 <br /> <br />Overview <br /> <br />To more effectively utilize and plan for City technology, staff has prepared a Technology Master <br />Plan for the Council's consideration. Generally speaking, the plan seeks to accomplish the <br />following: <br /> <br />· Outline strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats relative to technology. <br />· Articulate management principles to guide the City in its purchasing and use of <br />technology, <br />. Define specific strategic initiatives and corresponding implementation timelines, <br />· Delineate a specific three year technology investment plan (capital improvement plan) <br />and investment principles. <br /> <br />Internally, the plan has been reviewed by the City Management Team and a number of other <br />staff members. In addition, the document was provided to the Website Taskforce for their <br />review and comment as wel!. <br /> <br />. Requested Action <br /> <br />Provide comments on the proposed Technology Master Plan <br />
