<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 21, 2002 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson stated he was not supportive of dropping $350,000.00 in <br />one park, when other shelters are needed in the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rem asked if PTRC had reviewed the proposal. <br /> <br />Director Moore answered yes, and asked if there was a way to accomplish the idea <br />that this park is NOT Guidant's park. <br /> <br />After further discussion, the Council consensus was to "move down the Guidant <br />path", and commit to the $350,000.00 and spend other monies elsewhere, adding <br />they wanted to consult with the PTRC and get its input. <br /> <br />3.B TECHNOLOGY MASTER PLAN <br /> <br />Director Parrish explained that staff prepared a Master Technology Plan for the <br />Council's consideration. He noted the plan sought to outline the strengths, <br />weaknesses, threats and opportunities relative to technology in the City. Mr. <br />Parrish said the plan had been reviewed by the City Management Team and other . <br />staff members along with the Web site Taskforce. <br /> <br />The Council briefly discussed the strengths of the document, citing the specific <br />strategic initiatives, and directed staff to being forth an approval document at the <br />next Council meeting. <br /> <br />3.C I-35W BillLD-OUT STUDY <br /> <br />Director Parrish presented the I-35W Build-Out Study, and requested Council <br />comment. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst suggested the Council postpone dialogue concerning the I-35W <br />Build-Out Study be postponed to the November Work Session. <br /> <br />4,A 2003 Non-Barl!aininl! Emulovee Benefit Renewal <br /> <br />Personnel Director/Deputy Clerk Young presented the Council with a summary of <br />the non-bargaining unit employees 2003 benefit, 2000-2002 benefit history, and a <br />summary of the salary and benefits costs. Ms. Young requested staff review and <br />provide comments. <br /> <br />. <br />
