<br />ARDEN HILLS EDA MEETING - DECEMBER 4, 2000 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />B. PUBLIC HEARING - Resolution 02-1: Establishing a Policy Regarding . <br />Business Subsidies <br /> <br />President Probst opened the Public Hearing at 6:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Parrish stated cities are required to have a Business Subsidy Policy prior to the <br />granting of a business subsidy. He noted, based on input from the Commissioners, <br />the only change that had been made since the previous meeting was the addition of <br />section IV.A. This was based on the expressed desire to have the requirements <br />apply to all business subsidies, even those that were statutorily exempted. <br /> <br />There was no one present for the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />President Probst closed the Public Hearing at 6:42p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Larson moved and Commissioner Aplikowski <br />seconded a motion to approve EDA Resolution No. 02-0 I: <br />Establishing a Policy Regarding Business Subsidies as <br />presented. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />President Probst adjourned the Economic Development Authority Meeting at 6:43 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Dennis Probst <br />President <br /> <br />Joe Lynch <br />Executive Director <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
