The City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause to <br />be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper, and <br />in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the <br />making of such approved plans and specifications. The adver- <br />tisement for Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-84-2 shall be published as <br />required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call <br />for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall <br />state that the bids will be received by the City Clerk <br />Administrator until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on August 9, 1984, at which <br />time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City <br />Clerk Administrator and City Consulting Engineer, will then be <br />tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the Council, <br />and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with <br />the Clerk Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, cer- <br />tified check or bid bond payable to the Clerk Administrator for <br />ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilmember Hicks and upon vote being taken <br /> <br /> <br />thereon, the following voted in favor: Al11 <br /> <br />and the following voted against: None 1 <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
