<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Resolution No. 86-40 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR HEATING, <br />VENTILATING, AIR CONDITIONING AND SHEET <br />METAL WORK AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 80-62 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills has determined <br />that permit fees shall be established by resolution adopted by the City Council, <br />and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee, after careful study, has recommended <br />a change in the present fee schedule and change in percentage of fee to be <br />retained by the City. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective September 1, 1986, <br />the heating permit fees for installation, alteration or additions shall be <br />as follows: <br /> <br />$25.00 <br />5.00 <br /> <br /> 10.00 <br /> 4.00 <br /> 15.00 <br /> 3.00 <br /> 300.00 <br /> 25.00 <br /> 4.00 <br /> 25.00 <br /> 4.00 <br /> 15.00 <br /> 3.00 <br /> 10.00 <br /> 20.00 <br /> 20.00 <br /> 2.00 <br /> 300.00 <br /> 25.00 <br /> 3.00 <br />. 15.00 <br /> 5.00 <br /> 5.00 <br /> <br />Minimum fee for permit. <br />Each Gas Appliance (machine, device, heater, range, <br />refrigerator, gas dryer, gas stove, gas hot water heater <br />or other appliance requiring the use of manufactured gas <br />or liquid petroleum gas. <br />Gas piping - $500.00 valuation or less (repair or instal- <br />lation). <br />Each additional $500.00 cost of repair or installation. <br />Gas Burners or Gas Burner Equipment, Oil and Wood Burn- <br />ing Furnaces or Boilers <br />First 100,000 BTU input or less. <br />Each additional 100,000 input or fraction thereof. <br />Maximum fee for each unit. <br />Steam, Warm Air or Hot Water Heating System <br />First 100,000 BTU input for construction or alteration <br />of any warm air furnace duct work. <br />Each additional 100,000 BTU input or fraction. <br />First 100,000 BTU input per unit for installation or <br />replacement of each steam or hot water system. <br />Each additional 100,000 BTUs or fraction thereof. <br />(240 x EDR = BTUs/hr.) <br />Per unit on unit heaters, based on first 100,000 BTU <br />input. <br />Each additional 100,000 BTU input or fraction thereof. <br />Incinerators <br />Installation or repair of each domestic incinerator. <br />Installation or repair of each commercial incinerator. <br />Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Work <br />First 5 tons on any air conditioning or refrigeration <br />project (60,000 BTUs). <br />Each additional ton or fraction thereof (12,000 BTUs). <br />Maximum fee per unit. <br />First 5 tons (60,000 BTUs) of cooling for duct work for <br />air conditioning <br />Each ton (12,000 BTUs) or fraction thereof over first <br />5 tons for duct work for air conditioning. <br />Ventilating Systems <br />First 2,000 CFM per unit. <br />Each additional 1,000 CFM or fraction thereof per unit. <br />Each bathroom exhaust fan in a multiple dwelling. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective September I, <br />1986, the percentage of the permit fee to be retained by the City be changed to <br />25%. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden Hills Council this 11th day of August, 1986. <br /> <br />f ~h../~-,--, <br /> <br />~t L.
